What do your to-do lists look like?

I’ll get us started airing our dirty laundry by posting a couple desperate ones here.

Exhibit A:

Outlier list with only one item. Who wrote this? Usually my pre-trip to-do lists are never under 25 tasks long as I always try to finish EVERYthing before I board a plane. Is that a panic “pack!” (midnight before an early morning flight)? or get-a jumpstart encouraging Pollyanna “pack!” (2 days before the trip)? Can’t remember.

Exhibit B:

Senile list that takes the reward out of crossing off an item in its redundancy. (I list the same task twice. But hey, Jack did get lunch that day.)

Exhibit C:

The meta list that outlines a pile of *other* lists I need to make, which cover such basic life processes as eating, moving, sleeping, and working. And which, upon reflection months later, definitely makes me sound insane. And like someone who will start an Instagram about finishing things. To be fair, I yelled at myself to be “realistic!!!”
